WRY MOUTH EXCLUSIVE: Pajuante's Holiday Comfort Food, Part 1
* Pajuante?
Exclusive to the Wry Mouth website, comfort food recipes for the holidays or any time! These time-tested recipes originate in the narrow, brick-walled kitchen of the vaguely European Chef Pajuante [pronounced Pah-WAN-tay], and can only be brought to the wider world by Wry Mouth! Enjoy!
Pajuante's Chocolate Milk and Raisins
Ingredients
- several spoonsful of chocolate drink powder, preferably Ovaltine
- 12 - 16 oz. milk
- 1/2 cup raisins (by volume)
Add Ovaltine powder to milk and stir thoroughly. Add raisins. Eat with spoon until raisins are gone, then drink.
Serves: 1.
Variation:
Add Ovaltine powder to milk but let float on top. Add raisins, of which some will acquire goopy coating of Ovaltine on the way down to the bottom of the glass. Stir thoroughly, and eat as above.

This is why I don't let you cook. You are the only person I know who cannot follow the recipe on the box of Pasta Roni.
Pajuante has neglected to mention his "secret ingredient" -- barbecue sauce.

(a) Hello?! It's a secret ingredient? Pajuante may be considering legal recourse at this very hour!
(b) Pajuante avers that any "secret ingredient" he may or may not use is not universally applied to all recipes, as that would be madness. FOR EXAMPLE: he would shudder at the thought of using barbeque sauce of any type in his "chocolate milk and raisins" recipe.
So there.

Ha. He just never thought of it, or there would be a "chocolate milk, raisins, and barbecue sauce" offering. Probably when you dip the goopy raisins into the barbeque sauce.
