Benazir Bhutto Assassinated

RIP, Benazir Bhutto

Benazir Bhutto, former PM of Pakistan, was assassinated by Islam-o-fascists today. Exactly what stripe of Islam-o-fascist remains to be determined.

When Ms Bhutto returned to Pakistan in October to contest parliamentary elections, after eight years in self-imposed exile, Islamic militants threatened to kill her, branding her as a supporter of Washington's war on terror and a proponent of women's rights.

For "militants" in UK-Pressspeak, read "fascist guerrilla terrorists."

Admittedly, Bhutto was only an enlightened world leader in comparison to other, non-Western leaders (e.g., her government was reportedly riddled with graft to a degree envied by African administrations). However, and again in comparison to leaders in similar countries, she was a breath of relative sanity.

It would be more than a shame if her death was in vain, eventually forgotten and of no impact. I should think that, at least, she would want her death to cause a democratic upheaval in Pakistan and lead to the extermination (or marginalization, as in the KKK) of the Islam-o-fascist political movement.

Now, can we, the Civilized World, band together to wipe out the infidel political philosophy?

Yes — they are the infidels; not us.
