Hey Lax — what's Lax Jr. up to on the radar gun these days? :o)
The right-hander has a fastball that tops out at about 40 mph. He throws so hard that the Youth Baseball League of New Haven [Connecticut] told his coach that the boy could not pitch any more.
Sorry to take so long to answer,but I and the Family Lax just returned from Holiday in beautiful Lake Tahoe.But I did happen to read about the kid from New Haven who tops out at *snicker* 40 mph. Lax-boy has been clocked at 52 mph when his arm is loose and he's throwin' his best gas. There was another kid(Andre)on his team that had just as much hair on his fastball if not more some games. A nice 1-2 punch.....
