Egads. One would like to think that there are more level-headed grown-ups than those that run around like chickens with their heads cut off.

The behavior of the world economy, in the face of the revealing of the shell game in real estate underlying the lending industry, has been shameful. Buncha shady dealers hustling to cover their assets, where a couple months' cool attitude would do a world of good.

No good. The pirates and cut-purses are grabbing all they can off of the table, everyone else be damned.

Just when I was cultivating a positive image of humanity, too.

But Man is only well-behaved in prosperity I guess. When the sky darkens, these days, it's every man for himself.
