Then, running for public office, when invited to hang out with this guy and his missus, spits on their shoes and kicks them hard in the shins and says, "no thanks."

    I'm not going to defend Ayres' actions, (and neither has Obama - quite the opposite) but really, what's the point of this, besides acute substance deficiency?
