Putting in the Well
Got the snake from the local hardware store, after 2 hr of grappling with the usual kitchen pipes and finding no clog therein.
The culprit was about 18 feet down, and 4 inches thick. Easily out of reach of my self-fashioned coat-hanger snake...
After 40 min or so, felt it give and now have the sink up and running after two down days.
I feel like I've just put in a well and am settling in to re-appreciate one of the conveniences of the modern era...
New things learned: how to jury-rig a lateral funnel using sink pipe, and where the "rout-out" opening is and how to open it up.
