I am actually surprised by how competitive the Coachella Valley prices are, relative to AZ, NM and CO. Historically, desert prices were some of the highest in SoCal but it doesn't seem to be that way anymore.

On the other hand, Needles' prices are ridiculous! Like San Francisco's!
