Home Again Home Again, and The Daily Gas
Jiggity-jig.
Left Mon 7:30 AM MST, arrived Tue 3:30 AM PST — one van, five people, two dogs.
Ahhhh...
Gas prices, SoCal desert: now $1.669... looks pretty intimidating after that $1.379 I paid in the Denver area a couple of days ago, but oh well.

At least it's not 4.50 as it was a few short months ago... It's California anyways, what do you expect? lower taxes then Colorado?
ps
that security code is the smallest numbers I have seen.

Thomas Paine! Welcome! (You're sure to get a more "civil" treatment here than at that ol' Are We Lumberjacks? site!)
I wish all my security codes were so wee; alas, that is the host site's doing. Me? I'd prefer something along the lines of the "captchas" engineered by Rob Cockerham at cockeyed.com ... those are rilly cool.
As for California? Not only do we have higher taxes (take that, Massachusetts!) but we also have "magic gas" -- higher octane than AZ, NM or CO, and no ethanol adulteration. Ya gotta pay for quality; I get that.
Cheers!

Be thankful, it's back up to $1.70ish in Seattle. What else can we expect in the state with the highest gas taxes?

greetings, rabenstrange; don't be a rabenstranger! ;o~
I *am* thankful, having spent about $4.269 not too long ago... prices here in the anti-Seattle of CA (kinda like Yakima, I guess) are settling into the $1.85-$2.00 range; I want to go down to the local AM/OM and grab somea that $1.67 gas before they bounce up a little!
