Worship in Westminster Abbey
On Sundays, the Abbey of Westminster is closed to tours and actually functions as a church.
not *entirely* free of politics, of course — in fact, this Sunday, the homily is about William and Mary, co-king and queen after James was driven off to Ireland. But them who wants to worship, can. And in such a fine place; the Abbey herself an act of worship above all else.
at the end of services, attendees are invited to visit the graves of William and Mary (back in the Lady Chapel, left-hand side, just past Mary, Queen of Scots' tomb) as a wreath is laid in their honor. We do.

be assured Wry muttered to himself,
"Are you Mary, Queen of Scots?""I am."
as he passed by the tomb.
and the sound of the "pepperpots" screaming echoed in his skull as the wreath was laid.

You troglodytes.
