Holy Smokes; It's "Blog Action Day" on Global Warming? Here's My Contribution!
Hmm; write something "actiony" on the Global Warming Crisis, eh?
(1) The Global Warming Crisis is here. It is the usurping of state powers, and the power of the elected representatives of states, and the giving of those powers to an unelected world authority.
(2) There is scientific evidence that the Global Warming Crisis is real. That evidence is, that the "discussions" and proclamations of the crisis are invariably 100% negative. This strongly suggests (to anyone with a background in education) that "bad cheaters" are behind the public statements. Bad cheaters don't just want to win enough, or by a margin. Bad cheaters want to win it all, all the time.
(3) You can do something about the Global Warming Crisis. Anytime one of your elected representatives wants to pass legislation to combat Global Warming, ask him or her what the possible positive effects of climate change might be. If they can't think of any, or haven't had any explained to them, then it is probable that they are grossly misinformed and/or not interested in science so much as having their own way and being on the winning side.
If this is the case, you might consider voting against them in the next election cycle.
Power to the peep-hole!

Hmmmmmmmmm...now let me see,,,,this is PURE guess, but I'm going to go with the probabllity that "global warming" started approx. 10,000 years ago at the end of the THIRD ice age. And thank God it did.
P.S. That's a good idea you have...RUN when those running to get on the public payroll start talking about it.

All I want is a balanced discussion. Is that too much to ask for?
If yes, then it may be too late for the likes of me. ;o/

If you could, could you post the information that you're talking about, Wry Mouth?
This isn't intended to be sarcastic, I'm genuinely interested.

".. post the information that you're talking about"
Sul: I am unclear on the question, but "the information I am talking about" is everywhere in the press since the avent of Al Gore's new career. Global Warming (or Climate Change, or what-have-you) consequences are presented in awful, unbalanced -- and to my mind, unscientific -- way. I mean, really: if something happens to the Earth's Environment, it is 100% true that it will be 100% bad for the planet, people, animals, etc.?
How does any significant percentage of the population see this as anything but ridiculous?
Or is it just me again?
I don't want to come across as saying it is or isn't happening -- that's not my point, and I don't have the expertise to comment on that. But I *do* have some expertise on "snow jobs," and the Global Warming Crisis has many of the earmarks of a snow job.
