Craig Ferguson on Recovery

"one thing led to another, and I forgot to kill myself"

Craig Ferguson does a public monologue on alcoholism and sobriety. Public. And it's funny and witty and compelling at the same time.

There's a myth that goes around popular culture right now which is that alcoholism can be cured by a 28 [day] stint in rehab... I'm sorry to annoy the censors, but that is horse****.

Great post - when you can laugh at past pain from alcholism - and it probably takes 10 or more years - you are into good sobriety.....but only one day at a time.

If you need help get it. AA works best for most.

As Craig says, EVERYBODY knows one. I know more about him now than I ever did.

    Funny man.

Hey Codge; I thought you'd get a kick out of this. I did, too. It's refreshing to see someone "in the spotlight" actually making sense. :)
