I just finished downloading 10+ books into my phone to read with the Aldiko application. Fast access to Twain, Chesterton, Sayers, Doyle, Melville and the like. They have access to modern works and self-published books too but I am dipping into my favorite classics first. Aldiko is very "kindle" like; until we get a kIndle or nook, this will do nicely. 8/10, at least, for this app.
