It's not that I've lost my taste for writing; on the contrary, I think this blog served its purpose: to compel me to write for at least two years.

Over the course of things, it gravitated towards political screeds; possibly because politics is mostly shooting fish in barrels — just pick the easy target on the other side of the aisle, and blast away.

I've tried to concentrate more on sociological essays, of late, than political ones although there is understandably some unavoidable overlap.

Now, I am feeling a tug in another direction. So I've been writing longhand, a fair amount, and working on a story (of course, mostly for my own edification. My writing style is idiosyncratic, overly sentimental and not very readable. Luckily, I think being creative is a high honor, regardless of public marketability).

So, this site is under construction. Or, under mortification and transmutation.

Maybe.
