Desert Studies, Summer, north of Palm Springs, looking for Creosote Bushes

It turns out that creosote bushes, which I have hunted iguanas around since childhood, may be long-lived creatures. This one, about 30 feet long, may be well over 1,000 yrs old, and at least over 300 years old.
