Irony in Cognitive Science

The attempt, among some cognitive scientists to explain "the religious experience" in terms of emotional impulses, is a field of investigation that is among the most irony-packed.

One of the first principles my elementary math students learn is that one must be certain of the question before one can answer it properly.
